Throughout history, technology has always been closely linked to art, design and fashion. In order to meet increased market demands for always new and interesting products, advanced technologies have enabled a more precise and faster production of new products. With the help of science and due to fast technological development new techniques, production processes, materials, fibers and textiles have been implemented in apparel and footwear industry. In the last two decades, new fabrics developed by the latest technologies have led to great progress in medicine, sports, military, protective clothing, architecture and fashion. The work illustrates the most prominent and innovative designs of established and unknown fashion brands of our time, using the latest technologies in the field of textile and clothing design. Due to laser cuting and 3D- printing technologies, interesting fabrics and forms have been designed and incorporated into a contemporary collection of hats and masks. Both technologies allow the implementation of precise and complex interventions on materials. Among other things, they reduce the number of technological operations, steps and tools in the manufacturing of complex products, resulting in the shortening of the production process.
